(Havre) – According to preliminary data compiled by AgGroWeather Media, precipitation totaled 0.61 inch at the Havre airport in November, which was 24 percent more than the normal of .49 inch. The most precipitation in a 24-hour period was 0.41 inch measured on November 15-16th.
The November average temperature calculated out at 36.8 degrees which was 5.8 degrees warmer than the normal average temperature for this month. Average wind speed was 9.6 mph, just under the normal of 10.0 mph.
The outlook from NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center for December is calling for temperatures to average above normal with near the usual amount of precipitation. During December, there is a noticeable drop in temperatures with highs normally in the mid 30s at the start and upper 20s at the end of the month.
