(Havre) During this week’s Hill County Park Board meeting, the board spoke on a new way that the public can donate to the construction of the Beaver Creek Lodge Project.
New Media Broadcasters spoke with Park Superintendent Chad Edgar about this new addition
“We are short money for funding the lodge. So we’re looking for any help that we can get, anybody that desires to give a donation to the lodge effort, they can go on our website at bcpark.org and click on ‘buy a permit’. It’ll take them to a link that will say would you like to give a donation to the lodge.”
The park board sites their money shortages on the increase in material costs since the tax levy and a misjudgment of expenses in the planning process.
