Belgrade felon sentenced on illegal firearm possession.

(Belgrade) A Belgrade felon who admitted to illegally possessing a firearm for five years and while on state probation was sentenced to two years in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release.

The defendant, 49-year-old Mark John Littlefield pleaded guilty in January to prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

The government alleges in court documents that Littlefield was convicted of a driving under the influence charge in 2011, and one of the conditions of his sentence was being forbidden from owning a gun.
