Billings Man Convicted for Illegally Possessing a Gun.

(Billings) – A Billings man with a felony conviction was sentenced on July 25th to two years and three months in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release for illegally possessing a gun after ha accidentally shot a person and fled.

Aaron Clifford Olson pleaded guilty in March to prohibited person in possession of a firearm. United States district Judge Susan P. Watters presided over the case. Assistant United States Attorney Thomas K.Godfrey prosecuted the case. The Billings Police Department and The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives conducted the investigation.
