BROWNING, Mont. (NMB) – In a press release on Wednesday afternoon, the Blackfeet COVID-19 Incident Command Team announced that the Blackfeet Reservation has confirmed its first case of the Omicron COVID variant.
The highly contagious variant has also been found in residents in Missoula and Gallatin Counties.
State Health Department Director Adam Meier says that their Department continues to urge all eligible Montanans to get the COVID vaccine and booster and take other precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.
