The Havre Blue Ponies took part in the Eastern A Divisional Track Meet in Sidney on Saturday. The Lady Blue Ponies finished in 2nd with 92 points while the boys placed 5th with 52 points. Both Laurel Boys & Girls teams placed first in the competition.
Havre’s Brayden Kimberling placed 3rd and 4th in the 100-meter & 200-meter dash finals with a time of 11.49 and 22.73. Trayden Riley placed 5th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 52.62.
Caleb Tomac and Brody Henry had an impressive performance in the boys 800-meter dash. Tomac placed 1st with a time of 1:58.43 & Henry placed 2nd with a time of 1:59.37. Tomac also placed first in the 1600-meter race & 3rd in the 3200 meters.
For the Lady Blue Ponies: Kaydance Reiter and Macy Brandon placed 2nd and 3rd in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.23 and 13.43 seconds. Kaydance and Macy weren’t done there, with Kaydance Reiter placing 2nd and Macy Brandon placing 3rd in the 200-meter dash. Macy Brandon also placed 3rd in the 400 meters, 3rd in the long jump, and 4th in the triple jump giving her 5 top 4 finishes on the day.
Kyanna Jarvis placed 2nd in the 100-meter hurdles and won the High Jump with a distance of 5 feet.
