Havre, Mt – Friday night at Blue Pony Stadium the Blue Ponies dropped their first game at home the Fergus Golden Eagles 33-14.
The Blue ponies struggled on offense throughout the first half and went into the locker room down 14-0.
Havre was able to put up two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, but the scores were too late.
Head coach Jake Eldridge spoke to what he saw in the loss.
“First and foremost, got coach them better and get them ready. You know too many mistakes that were very very costly that put us in deep holes and obviously put us behind the sticks and then changed field position and they got a dynamic offense and they took advantage.” Coach Eldridge said postgame.
Now the Blue Ponies have a chance to bounce back for their last home game of season on Senior this Friday, October 17. Kickoff is at 7pm and you can listen on KOJM.
