The Havre Blue Pony golf team is set to start their season this Wednesday, August 17th in Lewistown.
Blue Pony head coach George Ferguson is excited to get going and is focused on starting his players off on the right foot.
“That’s what I’m looking for, just to get them off on the right foot. Whatever the scores are, that’s what they are gonna be. I just want them to have a really great first day, in Lewistown,” says Ferguson.
When asked about what goals he had for his group this season, Coach Ferguson had one word in mind, improvement.
“Get each individual player to improve. Wherever they were from the beginning of the season, if they all improve, it starts to take care of some of those other goals,” says Ferguson.
The Blue Pony golf team will host their only home invite of the season this week on Thursday, August 18th, following their match in Lewistown.
