(NMB) The Havre Blue Pony Softball team is preparing to compete is this week’s State Class “A” Tournament to be held in Hamilton Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The Ponies are the number one seed out of the Northeast division and Head Coach Tony Vigliotti feels is team is ready to go. ” Yes, we are ready to go. We’ve played some of our best softball the last three weeks of the season, which is what you want to be doing here at tournament time. We will keep working on some of the little things. We are looking forward to the opportunity of going down to the State Tournament and competing with the best teams in the state.”
Havre will open tournament play on Thursday afternoon at 5pm. They will take on the winner of the Butte Central vs Polson game to be held earlier in the day Thursday. New Media Broadcasters will have updates and scores from the State softball tournament.
