Havre, MT – October is Breast Cancer awareness month and the Blue Pony Faithfull showed out Friday night.
Havre hosted Fergus for their “Dig Pink” breast cancer awareness night Friday and came out with a three set to zero sweep of the golden Eagles.
Head coach of the Ponies, Cassie Kruger described the home environment. “The environment was amazing. The community showed up and supported showed up and supported. We almost sold out of our pink T-shirts. It was electric in there, even with football being gone the entire gym was roaring with anticipation for that game.”
The Blue ponies then took on Billings central and dropped the match in four sets. however, Saturdays match was not a conference game meaning the Blue Ponies are still undefeated in conference play, at 5-0, and 6-1 overall.
Up next the Blue Ponies are at Blocktoberfest in Butte on Friday and Saturday October 10, and 11.
