(Havre) The Hill County Board of Commissioners held their weekly business meeting on Thursday, March 21st. They held this meeting at 1:30 PM rather than their typical 10am meeting time due to other obligations. Commissioner Sheri Williams was not in attendance.
Lexis Dockter, Hill County Clerk and Recorder, made a formal request to the commissioners to hear their thoughts and directives by May 1st of this year so that she could have the budget requests done in a timely manner.
Park Board member Lou Hagener had comments that he publicly made at this meeting. Lou’s comments entailed urging the commissioners to better promote vacancies on other local government boards in Hill County, stating that their current directives are not enough.
The Commissioners also received four requests for Fire District Trustee Appointments, all of which were approved.
The next meeting is scheduled for March 28th.
