CARBON COUNTY, Mont. (NMB) – The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office says that an investigation is underway after a body and vehicle were found in an irrigation ditch near Fromberg.
The vehicle and body were discovered by a local resident on Saturday just before 7 PM.
Deputies responded and a press release say it was apparent that the vehicle had been there for some time.
After officers got into the water to investigate further, a body was discovered in the mostly submerged vehicle.
The vehicle has been recovered from the ditch and investigations into the crash and death are ongoing.
