(Box Elder) The Box Elder football team held a celebration dinner at Box Elder School after their history making State Championship win.
Much of the team are also basketball players, and New Media Broadcasters spoke with Box Elder Basketball head coach Jeremy MacDonald who says that the community of Box Elder has been a contributing factor for the team’s success.
“Like I was saying, this group of seniors is a special bunch. We’ve had some good crews come through over the years. There were a lot of people that were involved in their success over the years, they’ve had a huge support network. Real special group of kids coming through our school right now”
The team now looks to the basketball season to win the state title back to back, something that the boys team has never done before.
