(Box Elder) An update on the court proceedings of the deadly shooting in Box Elder from March of this year, which killed two men, Derrin Caplette and T.R. Yallup.
Heard today was a status hearing for one of the alleged involved, Castillo Haffley, and his new attorney Ben Darrow.
Darrow came on the case just about two weeks ago, and was today asked by the court how long he’ll need to be ready to defend Castillo in the 9 day trial the state has requested.
Darrow has asked the courts for a months time to go through court documents and form a defense. A hearing to schedule the days and times of the trial was scheduled for 11:30am on September 16th.
