BUTTE, Mont. (NMB) – A 14-year-old boy has died in an apparent drowning at Fairmont Hot Springs.
The victim drowned in an indoor pool at the resort in Silver Bow County on Friday. First responders were able to transport him to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, according to Sheriff Ed Lester.
Fairmont General Manager Steve Luebeck said they offer condolences to the family.
The incident continues to be investigated.
