Havre, MT – Havre High Blue Pony softball will be making the trek down to Lewistown this weekend for the Fergus invitational tournament. Blue Pony head Coach Tony Vigliotti reiterates what the keys will be for a strong performance.
“Again, for us you know in softball it’s pretty easy. You got to throw strikes. You got to make most of the plays you should make defensively. Then you got to put the ball in play and have good at bats, and for us that what we continue to try and do each and every day.”
Havre is 3-2 through five games this season. The Ponies Friday games have all been canceled but Havre will still play the same schedule on Saturday. Game one will be at 9:30a.m. against Luaral and game two will be at 3:30a.m. against Sheperd.
