Havre, MT – Havre High volleyball came out of the weekend with a pair of victories to improve to a strong 8-1 record.
The Blue Ponies won in four sets on Friday at Dawson County three sets one. Havre followed it up with a tough five set battle at Custer County on Saturday.
Blue Pony coach Cassie Kruger said that her team displayed excellent resiliency throughout both matches.
“The thing that I liked the most was how they showed up and showed a lot of strength and grit. We haven’t had a lot of matches where we have really had to battle for that win especially going to a five set. So, I’m very proud of how they showed up to get that five set done against miles city, even though some of the game was not our est performance overall.”
Blue Pony volleyball will finish the regular season on the road this week at East Helena on Thursday, October 23, and on Saturday, October 25, at Sidney. Varsity against East Helena begins at 6p.m. and against Sidney the varsity match with be underway at 4p.m.
