Breaking down Realignment Part 11: A New Feel For Basketball

Havre, MT – Eleven home games with multiple new opponents and extended conference basketball season.

This is part 11 of the daily Frontier Conference realignment brake down series with Montana State University-Northern Athletic director Christen Oberquell.

Yesterday, Montana State University-Northern Athletic Director Christien Oberquell broke down how much longer of a conference season it will be for Lights and Skylights basketball come December. Today Oberquell talks about the teams and how the new schedule will bring more entertainment to MSU-Northern fans and community.

“We are gonna have 11 home games, which is gonna give our fans and our community a lot more entertainment.” stated MSU-N AD.

Oberquell also mentioned how the Frontier conference tournament will be formatted, “Again they’re gonna take the top eight and the bottom four will be out recruiting.”

Less non-conference games will provided more opportunities for MSU-Northern fans.
