(Havre) – The Wapka Chug’n Buffalo Jump has been a prominent tourist attraction in Havre for many years. However, the historical site needs work on their stairs. Kyra Kaercher chairperson of the H. Earl Clack Museum Board of Directors tells us more about this issue.
“The stairs themselves now, it’s been twenty-five years, and they are in need of desperate repair. Boards are rotting out and it’s getting more and more unstable. So, we’re looking to replace all of that structure. Looking at kind of fifty to sixty thousand dollars for materials, labor and stain. Upkeep things like that.”
