(Havre) – The Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees had their December monthly meeting Tuesday night at Havre Middle School. The Meeting started with a choral perfomance3 from the 5th grade students at Sunnyside School followed by last month’s Pony Pride Award winner Jean Murphy selecting Havre High School Spanish Teacher and Swim Coach Jill Cammon as the December winner of the award.
The board passed changes to policies regarding, entrance, placement, and transfer, students of legal age and church family night. On first reading the board passed changes to shorten the Uniform Complaint Procedure Policy and they discussed adding Indian Policy and Procedures sections in the policy manual that will assist Havre Public School district’s application to the federal government for impact aid. Both proposed policies will have a second reading at the January board meeting.
The next meeting of the Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees will be on Tuesday January 14th, 2025 at Havre Middle School starting at 6:30pm.
