(Malta) A car crash in Fergus county earlier this week resulted in the death of the driver, according to a release from Montana Highway Patrol on Wednesday.
Police reports indicate that a vehicle was heading south on MT-19 when it veered slightly off the roadway and the end of a guardrail head on, which eventually caused it to pierce the driver side of the vehicle.
The driver, a 67-year-old woman from Malta, was dead when police arrived. MHP suspects alcohol and excessive speed as contributors to the fatal accident.
