(HELENA, MT) – At Helena, Carroll College is expanding access to its Accelerated Nursing (ABSN) track, now welcoming applicants who have completed an associate degree (AA or AS) from an accredited college or university.
Previously open only to students with a bachelor’s degree, the program’s updated criteria reflect Carroll’s commitment to creating new and more inclusive pathways into the nursing profession.
This change represents more than a policy update. It reflects a thoughtful effort to expand opportunity and acknowledge the diverse educational paths that lead students to nursing.
By recognizing the preparation and experience that associate degree holders bring, Carroll is creating a clear and efficient pathway to complete a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and enter the workforce sooner.
With this change, Carroll becomes the only institution in Montana, as well as the entire Pacific Northwest, to offer an accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing pathway for associate degree graduates.
