Cascade County election officials test voting system.

(Cascade County) Voting authorities in Great Falls held their public test of their voting system recently.

The Cascade County Elections office tested both the automatic voting tablets and the Express Vote voting operating system which will both be in use for the June 4th primary elections.

This test was done at Expo Hall.

This follows the Cascade County commissioners decision to remove election duties from their clerk and recorders office last year, moving it to a non-partisan administrator after Cascade County Clerk and Recorder Sandra Merchant was accused of election mismanagement.
