(Cascade County – KRTV) The Cascade County Elections Office says they need volunteers for the auditing process following last weeks primary voting cycle.
Before the results of the primary election are made official, they need to be canvased. And before they are canvased, they are put before an auditing committee.
Auditors make sure that everything went correctly, and even though the voting machines are tested before each election, they serve to double check the work of the computers.
Cascade County says that the committee will be selected randomly on the 11th at the Cascade County commission meeting, and the group will meet up for a few hours the next morning in the commission chambers.
