Children’s museum in Havre will enrich child and adult learning, according to founder.

(Havre) As previously reported by New Media Broadcasters, the Plant a Seed READ organization in Havre is beginning to organize a children’s museum in the Atrium building located on 3rd Avenue.

New Media Broadcasters spoke with Lorraine Verploegen, founder of Havre’s Plant a Seed, Read Organization, who says that the new space will bring a great educational opportunity for kids and parents.

“But the benefit for the children is that bonding with the parent, because it’s not a drop-off center. The child and parent work together and learn. It’s going to help through the first five years of that brain development”

That first five years, Verploegen says, is the most crucial to a child’s development.

Verploegen says that the museums arrangement will take some time as they’ve only just began the lease during the time of writing, saying that new lighting and the construction of exhibits are the main priority now.
