(Havre) Montana Audubon and Fish, Wildlife and Parks are holding a “Swift Night”, an educational program on chimney swifts, in Havre.
Taking place June 11th at MSU Northern, FWP says participants will learn about the Chimney Swift bird, named after its inclination to next in chimneys of eastern Montana homes, and about how they can be used to monitor local populations.
The presentation starts at 7:30 PM in Room 112 of Cowan Hall, to be followed by a survey around downtown Havre until 10pm. FWP says participants will need a phone and a pair of binoculars.
