(Chinook) The Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation in Chinook received another donation from Chinook residents Gary and Millie Smith.
A release from the foundation says that since they began operating in 2020, the Smiths have donated nearly $5,000 to the cause as avid supporters of Chinook and the community.
The Foundations goals are set at just under 2 million dollars for the rehabilitation of the Chinook Community Pool and Sweet Park, with their ultimate goal being that of a 3.2 million dollar sum to also include a splash pad and water slide with the pool’s makeover.
