Chinook, MT – Chinook Sugarbeeter Girls basketball is set to host Cut Bank at home Thursday night for a chance to end their five-game losing streak.
The Sugarbeeters are 1-5 on the year, 0-3 in conference play and 0-3 at home heading into the weekends contest.
Chinook Girls head coach Jill Barta gave the keys to both games this week.
“Our mental focus for cut bank, 100%, we just got to handle our business which the girls are 100% capable of doing. On to Fairfield we got to stop Harrel and Shank, they are both great shooters, and great athletes. If we can just focus on playing together and knowing where our shooters are and being in the gaps the outcome is something we look towards being positive.” Coach Barta said.
Tipoff for the girls at home is set for 5:30 Thursday night followed by the boys. Then Saturday at Fairfield the girls will start at 2:30 and the boys game will follow.
