The Chinook Sugarbeeters Track and Field teams were in Laurel for the final meet of the season at state on Saturday. Here are some notable Beeters finishers:
Carson Nissen secured a third-place finish in the long jump, setting a personal mark with a 20-foot and 8.25-inch mark. Hannah Schoen was a top-10 discus thrower, chucking it an individual record 99 feet and 10 inches to secure ninth. Hallie Neibauer’s final track and field meet consisted of a 1:03.59 400-meter dash.
