The Chinook Sugar Beeters capped off the weekend in the double header high school basketball finale of the 9C regular season when they hosted Fort Benton Saturday night. In the girl’s game Chinook grabbed the lead from the start and held it fast, out front in every quarter and in scoring and in the end finished with a 46 to 43 score over Fort Benton. In the boy’s game Fort Benton owned the first half of the game in the scoreboard. The second half, and the game, was owned by the Sugar Beeters in scoring and the final score 48 to 40 over Fort Benton.
