(Havre) – The City of Havre is starting one more construction project on Monday.
– Chip seal maintenance work will begin Monday, August 25th at 9:00 AM on 13th Street between 5th and Monroe Avenues. No parking will be allowed in this area on Monday. Traffic lanes will be narrowed and shifted as the work progresses on the roadway. City of Havre Public works director Trevor Mork Explains.
“What will be done is we’ll be taking half of that roadway and limiting traffic onto it. We’ll split it in half and make half of it into a work zone and half into traffic.”
Please drive slowly around the work zone for the safety of the workers and to keep the chips from loosening. If conditions allow, the maintenance work may continue on 1st Avenue by Northern Montana Hospital to 20th Street on Monday afternoon but is scheduled for Tuesday.
