Chouteau County Winter Celebration Set for Saturday

FORT BENTON, Mont. (NMB) – Although there will not be the traditional Chouteau County Country Christmas this year, local organizers have come up with a different way to celebrate the holiday season.

This Saturday in Fort Benton, there will be a Winter Celebration from 10 AM to 4PM

Organizer Connie Jenkins says people should expect to see a variety of vendors

“Craft vendors and local businesses all the way starting with Missouri River Lumber Company with some crafts for kids, but limited kids at times, going all the way down Front Street and into Sunrise Bluffs Estate.”

Jenkins says there will also be a drive-up breakfast.

“You can drive up and get your breakfast from 8 AM until 10 AM on the same day. You can also drop your postcards off at the River Market, our grocery store, writing a letter to Santa. The theme this year is the Magic of a Montana Christmas.”

There will also be people singing Christmas Carols on the balcony of Wake Cup Coffee House.

On Sunday, there will be a Christmas Bazaar in Geraldine from 11 AM to 4 PM in the old auditorium. Santa will arrive at 2 PM.
