(Havre) – On September 6th, Cirque Luz Dalia, a family circus group, will be performing live at the Great Northern Fairgrounds from 4:30 pm to 7 pm. The cirque’s CEO, William Guerin talks about the acts that will take place during the show.
“More or less what we try to put together is something with a cirque feel to it but extremely old fashioned. And what I mean by old fashioned is that mainly in most of the shows that you see now you’re going to see more of the spectacles the big lighting, the bigger acts, and daredevilry but here what we try to do is make the show a little more intimate, more geared towards the family’s, more geared towards the kids. So, what you’re going to see at the show is mainly most of the performers are going to be engaged with the audience. So, we have a wonderful hair hanging act where a girl is suspended by her hair almost 18 feet up in the air, we have a world class juggler that is from Mexico, we have a contortionist, we have foot juggling involved, we have a really cool trampoline act, and you know our clowns. We’re famous for our clowns.”
He continues by talking about the circus’s history.
“So, it’s a circus that I started with my wife actually a year ago so it’s very new very recent, but I myself am a third-generation circus performer my wife is 4th generation circus performer. So, we have been in the business for many, many, many years and yeah we all of a sudden decided to start our own small little circus which would be dedicated more or less to the smaller towns instead of the bigger cities.”
He finishes by talking about the price for admission to the show.
“So. right now what we have is a really good offer if you go online right now you can get for the most part all of your tickets 50% off, we do have a special for the first 100 people that come in. Ticket prices are $9.99 we also we’ve also went around town and given out free kid’s ticket vouchers as well. So, with that voucher you can pick up on of the free kid’s tickets and that will allow one of the kids to come in for free with a paid adult. We do sell our tickets at the door as well and so ticket prices start at $25 and up but other than that our show usually lasts about 90 minutes, and we allow the audience to come in an hour before doors where they have like a kid’s fun space. Where we do have face painting children can engage in certain activities and we also have fun concessions, sweets and treats and stuff.”
