(Havre) – As previously reported by New Media Broadcasters the City of Havre was recently awarded $50,000 in Community Development Block Grant Planning Grant funds from the Montana Department of Commerce for a preliminary storm water engineering report. Montana Department of Commerce Assistant Director Mandy Rambo explains why this project qualifies for CDBG funding.
“Yes, so for the planning grant, it is various types of planning for the city storm water, wastewater planning is just one portion that is able to be funded.”
The City of Fort Benton also received $32,000 in CDBG planning grant dollars for zoning updates to the Ag Industrial Park.
