(Havre) The City of Havre put out a Public Service Announcement to the public via the Havre Public Works and Hill County Health Department Facebook pages notifying the public that the drinking water system will be under maintenance effective immediately.
The city will be conducting hydrant flushing along with increased disinfection procedures, and they say this may affect the drinking water. Tap water users may see a discoloration, increase in chlorine-like odors, and might notice city crews working at fire hydrants.
The city says this maintenance will be in affect until June of this year.
