City of Havre will once again ask residents to conserve water.

(Havre) The City of Havre’s Ordinance Committee met earlier this month, where it was made clear that the City of Havre will once again ask residence to stop all non-essential water usage.

Things like washing dishes or drinking tap water are not affected. Instead, the city mentioned things like watering lawns or washing cars as examples of non-essential water usage.

The main strategy discussed by committee members was that of informing and educating the public on the impacts of non-essential water use, especially as the city is faced with less and less water available in the Fresno Reservoir as the St. Mary Siphon is still undergoing repairs.
