Clean School Bus Rebate

(Helena) – The United States Environmental Protection Agency this week awarded $3,950,000 this week to school districts in Bigfork, Clinton, and Fairfield as part of the Clean School Bus Program Rebate.

This week’s announcement includes funding for zero-emission electric busses in the following amounts, Bigfork Elementary School $2,765,000 for seven busses, Clinton Elementary School $790,000 for two busses, and Fairfield Elementary school $395,000 for one bus.

The purpose of the Clean School Bus Rebate Program is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, save money for school districts and produce cleaner air.
