LEWISTOWN, Mont. (NMB) – The Bureau of Land Management has announced that the Coal Banks Landing and James Kipp Recreation Area campgrounds are now open for the season.
The sites are located along the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument.
Please be aware that there is no running water due to concerns about their system freezing overnight.
Boaters should be aware that water levels at Coal Banks Landing are too low to launch motorized vehicles.
