Commerce Announces $1.4 Million to Rehabilitate and Preserve Affordable Rental Homes in Havre

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Department of Commerce has announced that two affordable housing developers will share $1.4 million in federal funding through the Housing Trust Fund Program To support the rehabilitation and preservation of affordable rental homes in Havre.

Affiliated Developers will receive $500,000 to rehabilitate and preserve the Oakwood Village Apartments. This complex features 60 affordable homes.

Human Resources Development Council will receive $900,000 to rehabilitate and preserve the Highland Manor Apartments. This complex features 32 affordable homes.

These projects also received funding through federal Housing Credits allocated by Commerce’s Montana Board of Housing.
