(Havre) – Thanksgiving is one week from today. Thanks to the generosity of an Anonymous donor, once again a free community Thanksgiving dinner will be offered for everyone. Debi Rhines, Chairwoman of the community Thanksgiving Dinner told New Media Broadcasters what is on the menu this year.
“That starts at Stokes this year, they’re a new partnership with the recent sale of Gary and Leo’s IGA. They prepare the turkeys, and it’s a rolled turkey breast, they prepare the pies and then what we do is, we provide the mashed potatoes, the gravy, the dressing and all of that is made in house at the St.Jude Thaddeus Parish Center. We offer buns, a relish item if you so choose and cranberries.”
The community Thanksgiving Dinner takes place on Thursday November 27th from 11am until 2pm at the St. Judes Catholic Church Parish Center.
