MALTA, Mont. (NMB) – The Phillips County Health Department is reporting that five staff members at the Hi-Line Retirement Center (HLRC) have tested positive for COVID-19.
A press release from Tuesday afternoon says no residents of HLRC are showing symptoms of COVID-19 at this time, and they will be testing residents and staff at least once a week until the facility goes 14 days without a new positive case.
It is unknown how the staff members acquired the virus.
Phillips County Health Department and the HLRC are taking every step they can to protect staff and residents of the center. Contact tracing has been completed, and they will keep the public informed on the situation.
