According to a release from the Montana Highway Patrol a 21-vehicle incident on the westbound lane of I-90 at mile marker 493, three miles west of Hardin Friday evening. The incident was reported at around 4:30pm. As of 9:38 pm Friday six fatalities have been confirmed. Interstate travel is being detoured and travel delays are expected until further notice. A quick-arising dust storm is believed to be the cause.
