Database Launched to Connect Rural Communities with Funding Resources

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Governor Steve Bullock and Lt. Governor Mike Cooney have launched a database to connect rural communities with funding resources.

The Community Development and Funding Database will offer Montana communities federal grant and loan opportunities for economic development.

Bullock says it “…will help communities, especially in rural areas, fully take advantage of over 100 funding opportunities to revitalize downtown areas, implement broadband, update aging infrastructure and more.”

With the database, rural communities are privy to funding sources, knowledge and expertise for projects.
