This order was reportedly meant to halt further action on the deletion of students’ visitor information records.
The DHS filing argues that the restraining order should be rescinded. While the students’ SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) records were deleted, the filing stated that their F-1 student status and visas were never revoked, as DHS claims they lack the authority to do so.
