(Dillion) – A Dillon man will spend 18 months in federal prison after law enforcement found a cache of weapons in his home.
Fifty-year-old Cameron Duane Haworth was sentenced last week in Missoula after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm. Federal prosecutors say Haworth is a convicted felon and is legally barred from owning weapons.
During a search of his home last August, federal agents uncovered six firearms along with ammunition, which Haworth later admitted he knew were there.Following his prison term, Haworth will serve three years of supervised release and must pay a ten-thousand-dollar fine.
