Chinook, MT – The Chinook Sugarbeeters football team hosted the Belt Huskies Friday night for their first home game of the season.
They lost in a very competitive and entertaining battle 30-26, but Head Coach of the Beeters Mike Jones says that his team is all about life lessons and responding from these moments.
When talking with Coach Jones after the game, this is what he had to say about his resilient team, “We talked about what’s your response to this game, we’re all about life lessons and responses. We have it on film now so we can get better, and if we learn from this rather than hang our heads on it the end of our season is a lot longer than shorter.”
Chinook will next host the Rocky Boy Northern Stars this Thursday with kickoff set for 7 p.m. live from Hoone Field.
