Fall arrives in Havre tomorrow. Trees will start to lose leaves and branches. Trevor Mork, Public Works Director for the City of Havre explains who is responsible for cleanup of leaves and branches from Boulevard trees.
“Property owners are responsible for trees that are on or adjacent to their property. Even if it’s on the Boulevard. And that’s by city code 9-8-5 which was established in 2010, stating “A property owner is responsible for the watering, care, and maintenance of any street trees adjacent to the property or on the property owner’s property.”
