DPHHS Reminds Montanans About Early Intervention Hotline

HELENA, Mont. (NMB) – During these challenging times, the Department of Public Health and Human Services would like to remind Montanans of a free and confidential hotline that provides emotional support.

Montana Warmline is operated seven days a week and provides early intervention with emotional support that can prevent a crisis.

It is staffed by individuals with lived experience that understand the behavioral health needs of individuals.

This is not a crisis line. However, responders of the recovery line can refer people who are considering suicide or are otherwise in crisis to appropriate services.

The Warmline is staffed Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 9 PM and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 9 PM.

The Warmline can be reached by calling 877-688-3377.
