Havre, MT – Tuesday night the Havre Northstars entered a rescheduled double header at Fort MacLeod looking to gain momentum before making the trek to Lewistown.
Northstar starting pitcher Quin Elliott has been in control on the mound all season, and Tuesday night his talent was on full display. Elliott pitched all five innings throwing 12 strike outs and give up zero hits. Elliott also lead Havre on the mound with four RBI’s in two hits.
“That’s what he is, he’s our horse. He’s always good for a really strong start and we put some run support up for him and he just cruised. It was really good to see.” Northstar head coach Ben Mader praised.
In the second game of the night Elliot secured two hits and two RBI’s. Quin will look to lead his team to a few more wins in Lewistown this weekend.
