FBA Commodity per Acre rates

(USDA) US Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins announced the next phase of the Farmer Bridge Assistance program (FBA) eligible commodity per acre payment rates for 2026.

$11 billion dollars has been allocated to the program for one time payments to producers. Another $1 billion dollars has been set aside for producers of specialty crops. The payment timeline is still being determined.

FBA payments are based on 2025 row crop planted acres, to include double crop acres, both initial & subsequent plants. Ineligible areas of payment are prevent plant acres, grazing, volunteer stands, experimental, green manure, crops left standing, abandoned crops, and cover crops.
